Pivot International is an eCommerce agency whose client base is exclusively focused on international online marketplaces across the US (Newegg.com, Tophatter.com, Rakuten USA, Opensky, Tanga), Europe (ePrice.it, Cdiscount, PirceMinister, FNAC, Vente-privee, Wupti, Coolshop), Asia (tthigo.com, JD.com, Qoo10, Rakuten Japan) and Australasia (Catch.com.au, Trademe.co.nz).

With the company and its client base growing rapidly we are looking to bring onboard a new sales and account executive to help identify UK and European online sellers and drive them to sell cross border onto our client channels. The role will require a results-driven sales representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects, convince them of the opportunities existing internationally, ensure they complete the onboarding process and guide them regarding the strategies which can be used to grow their sales on the marketplaces chosen.

You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.

Key Tasks

• Build on existing and develop new retailer and brand customer databases (sellers) by creating, managing and optimizing marketplace channels for all Pivot-sourced industry contacts

• Manage Pivot>seller relationships across Marketplace Channels and optimise go-to-market strategy, on-boarding process and build appropriate trading calendar that is relevant by country, channel and seller product

• Generate and qualify leads, as well as reach out through cold calling and ensure a fine-tuned process in terms of follow ups is put into place

• Source and develop client referrals and develop and follow through with sales proposals

• Prepare sales action plans and strategies for the weekly sales meetings

• Maintain the customer database and ensure it is leveraged to the maximum in terms of generating more business

• Develop and maintain sales and promotional materials

• Plan and conduct direct marketing activities

• Understand market drivers for all brands and channels and develop a strategy that maximizes sales and minimizes conflict

• Establish revenue goals by brand, by channel with supporting metrics and reporting

• Act as the key interface of Pivot to all sellers by responding efficiently and ensure the customer experience is top-notch

• Deliver the e-commerce account management activities of Pivot, by channel to ensure account alignment, Seller channel optimization and GMV potential

• Gather, analyse and report e-commerce metrics, including weekly/monthly retailer sales data by Channel

• Data reporting and analytics, including Google Analytics knowledge and experience creating / using a reporting dashboard – Excel Macro development is a must and other platform knowledge and usage is welcomed

• Strong technical acumen with knowledge of web and emerging technologies, as well as being a proven leader with strong decision making skill

• Strong knowledge of product & category sales and merchandising procedures, including promotion of new products, markdown strategy and seasonality changes for Channel optimisation

• Strong Communicator and written and verbal communication skills, who needs to be a digital-native and have operated within the eCommerce space for a number of years – either as a consultant, within a Marketplace or as a seller or seller manager

• Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers

• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

• Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status report Qualifications

• 2-5 years international B2B sales experience with a track record to implementing and optimizing a sales process

• Experience and working knowledge of Insightly or similar CRM systems and building lead gen campaigns

• Strong written, verbal communication skills and presentation ability

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office

• Working knowledge of Google Analytics
